A modular dryer buying checklist: box, base and the missing pieces

Maya's work begins after the spec sheet. Advertised speed, automatic leveling, high-flow hotends, and impressive benchmark numbers matter less if the printer is frustrating to set up or inconsistent across repeated prints.
Her test notes stay close to what owners actually experience: assembly time, first-print success, bed-mesh consistency, ringing at higher speeds, fan noise, filament loading, interface friction, and how much tuning was required before a printer produced reliable results.
Maya does not treat one perfect benchmark print as proof of a great machine. Recommendations have to account for repeated prints, maintenance, failed jobs, usability, replacement parts, firmware behavior, and whether the advertised features make a meaningful difference in everyday use.
